A sales funnel is the best way to get traffic to your website. Your sales funnel though should go beyond just the basic landing pages that draw a customer to buy from you. A full sales funnel should include aspects of, e-mail marketing, blogging, social media marketing, re-targeting, and custom audiences. There are several layers to your funnel starting with the content you produce. For instance; blog content, video content or newsletter content that you share on your social media channels. The majority, about 80 percent of this content will be entertaining or educational and 20 percent sales oriented. The primary goal for this layer is to educate, Inspire and entertain.

The bottom layer is the last step. Usually at this point a customer has taken your lead magnet or tripwire content and joined your email list or newsletter.
